Have you ever had a conversation on the
phone with someone and you are passionately trying to explain
the color of a particular painting that you recently viewed,
and you find that words cannot capture it?
Have you ever emailed someone after viewing
a painting and tried to explain exactly how you felt, but
again your words fell short?
Sometimes there are no right words.
Sometimes color is equally felt as well as seen. This is
the basis for the idea of "intelligent color".
Color usage that is well thought out and placed to get
a reaction from the viewer that words cannot convey.
We want the color to "speak to you",
emotionally and spiritually. And if the color can speak to
you, then you can have a non-verbal conversation with that
environment.
"I don't want to articulate
to you how red the wall is...let the wall speak for itself."
We believe color has power, and when used
correctly can create environments that uplift us, challenge
us, and take us to places of mystery and wonder.
