We Are: |
Smart Studios Inc. is a
multimedia art production house. We operate in the areas
of color, light, shadows, and space. We work in four
dimensions in our efforts to bring to you what we like
to call "intelligent
color". The primary output medium for these expressions
tend to be large-scale murals rendered both by hand and digital,
and other forms of post-architectural design. |

What We Do: |
Smart Studios transforms
your public or private space. We accomplish this with innovative
and thought provoking artwork. We are often commissioned
to produce murals and other forms of public art for municipalities
and private entities. Our work focuses on our own unique
art making process and concepts that mesh with the broad-based
involvement of clients and various stakeholders. We are often
engaged in collaborations with private business, schools,
and community groups to facilitate and produce projects,
educational programs, and workshops.

Scape
Martinez is an artist who consistently
pushes the boundaries of graffiti art, abstract painting,
and digital design. His work experiments with
graffiti aesthetics, abstract art, and taking those elements
into the public space. The outcome being a relentless pursuit
to intensify existing environments. It is the pursuit of
a visionary aesthetic that encompasses many fields of art
and design, ranging from urban art, photography, painting
and on through to sculpture.
Best known for his meditative
large canvas work and gestural abstract pieces, Scape has
built his central vision to be the connecting of the visual
to the spiritual.
His most recent accomplishments
include the multi-award winning Roosevelt Community Center,
and the international best selling book "GRAFF:
the Art & Technique of Graffiti" |
